Bruno Guimaraes anticipated Newcastle United’s 3-0 victory over Sunderland months ago.

That was his message to Newcastle fans after the game, after Newcastle thrashed Sunderland at the Stadium Of Light to advance to the FA Cup fourth round.
Despite the fact that there was a lot of anxiety going into the game, it turned out to be a pleasant afternoon on Wearside.

Newcastle dominated Sunderland, with a Dan Ballard own goal and a brace from Alexander Isak handing the Magpies the victory.

Eddie Howe’s team was anticipated to win, and they did so emphatically. It was a nearly ideal afternoon for his team, with Bruno Guimaraes and Miguel Almiron leading the way in black and white.

Bruno Guimaraes makes Newcastle United claim

Newcastle’s Bruno Guimaraes ‘knew’ they’d overcome Sunderland.

Bruno Guimaraes was exceptional, and he addressed the crowd after the game. He re-posted an old photo of himself playing FIFA 23 with the Magpies, in which he defeated Sunderland 3-0.

His comment was responded to by Toon co-owner Mehrdad Ghodoussi, who couldn’t help but giggle at the Brazilian midfielder’s post.

He added below the photo, “I knew it a long time ago.”

Bruno Guimaraes was outstanding against Sunderland.

Bruno knew Newcastle would win a long time ago, and he performed admirably in his first Tyne-Wear derby.
He dominated the midfield fight, displaying class on the ball as well as toughness and intellect off the ball.

Bruno showed his typical zeal in front of the traveling Toon Army after pressuring Sunderland in their own box and having the ball deflect off him for a goal kick. The roar was amazing, as if he had scored himself!

But he left that to Black Cats defender Ballard and Toon attacker Isak as Newcastle won 3-0 on Wearside.

At the Stadium of Light, Eddie Howe wanted his big guys to step up and produce, and Bruno did just that.
