They want to bring in someone who can help them control the game better, and Atalanta’s Ederson is a target for both clubs. According to Calciomercato, English clubs are in pole position to sign him this summer.
Ederson has improved steadily after joining Atalanta from Salernitana in the summer of 2022. The Brazilian midfielder has established himself at the Italian club and has been a regular throughout the current season.

He has appeared in 36 appearances for them and has scored seven goals. The 24-year-old is capable of playing both central and defensive midfield. His flexibility and rapid progress have piqued the interest of clubs from throughout Europe.
He still has over two years left on his contract with Atalanta, and they are not in a hurry to release him. The Italian club is reluctant to negotiate until a club makes an offer of €35 million.
While Juventus is interested in his talents, their financial condition isn’t ideal. As a result, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are leading the battle to sign him. They have adequate financial resources and are eager to add the 24-year-old to their roster.
