Travis has been playing for the Kansas City Chiefs for eleven years.
Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, is set to host an updated version of the television show Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader, according to fresh sources.
According to reports, production has already begun in Los Angeles, which explains why the NFL player and his fiancée Taylor Swift have spent so much time there. Variety initially reported the news in March, stating that there were questions about “how much of a commitment Kelce could make to the venture if he continues to play football.”
He’ll need to return to Kansas City for training in mid-July before the next NFL season begins in September, and his schedule for the next six months will be tight.
HELLO! has gone out to Amazon and Travis’ representatives for comment.
Travis’ intention to transition into hosting comes after he has already taken minor strides into the realm of entertainment.
In 2016, he was the star of his own reality romance show, Catching Kelce, but in recent years he has hosted Saturday Night Live and begun producing films and documentaries: his first film, My Dead Friend Zoe, premiered at SXSW earlier in March, and King Pleasure, an upcoming documentary about Jean-Michel Basquiat, will be produced later in 2024.
Travis was expected to accompany Taylor to Europe in May for the fourth leg of her Eras Tour, which starts in France. The diva completed the third leg of her Eras Tour with six nights in Singapore in February, and she finished it with another shout out to lover Travis, modifying the lyrics in ‘Karma’ to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me”.
Travis, 34, had flown into Singapore for the final night, and fans saw him in a private box with friends while Taylor performed her three-hour act. like the show came to an end, he waited backstage, like he had done before when he had seen her on tour, where fans had captured her running into his arms for a kiss.
The two began dating in the summer of 2023, after he saw her perform at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
He tried to offer her his phone number but was told she didn’t meet anyone before performance, so he called her out on his podcast, ‘New Heights’. Taylor subsequently described the move as “metal as hell,” and it is believed they were introduced by common acquaintances in the weeks that followed.
