Southampton manager Russell Martin acknowledges he has lots of selection issues heading into this weekend’s game against Watford.
Tom Cleverley’s men will visit Saint Mary’s after preserving a clean sheet against an adventurous Ipswich Town outfit on Wednesday.
Martin will aim to break through a staunch Hornets team, and he says he has many players who believe they should be in the team.
The Southampton manager says that selecting the starting eleven is difficult, but he understands that it is part of his job.
“I have a lot of headaches,” Martin told a press conference.
“Everyone thinks they should be playing, and they should.
“It’s not easy but it’s part of the job, and everyone will contribute between now and the end of the season.”
Saints appear to be settling for a playoff berth in the Championship this season, as they are 10 points behind the automatic promotion spots despite having two games in hand.
