On Friday, USC and Lincoln Riley extended a big offer to five-star Composite Nashville (Tennessee) quarterback Jared Curtis for the 2026 cycle. Curtis, a Georgia commit, accepted the offer while on an unofficial visit to school.

Curtis, who stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 225 pounds, is ranked as the No. 8 overall talent and the No. 1 recruit in Tennessee by both 247Sports and the 247Sports Composite. He is the top quarterback in the 247Sports Composite. In the spring, Curtis chose Georgia over offers from Oklahoma, UCLA, Texas, Florida, Alabama, Auburn, and other schools.

Curtis passed for 2,522 yards, 25 touchdowns, and nine interceptions during his sophomore season. He also rushed for 543 yards and 13 touchdowns, averaging 5.4 yards per carry.

It’s an intriguing offer from the Trojans, who are normally conservative with quarterback offers under Riley. Curtis is USC’s third quarterback offer in the class, after Utah signal caller Helaman Casuga and California prospect Ryder Lyons.

Lyons, whose older brother will be a freshman tight end for USC this year, now leads the Crystal Ball. Lyons, like his older brother, is anticipated to serve a Mormon mission, making him a 2027 enrollee.
