The Tahoe Knight Monsters hockey team has established an affiliation arrangement with both the Las Vegas Golden Knights and the Henderson Silver Knights of the American Hockey League.
The agreement was unveiled during a special event at Bally’s Lake Tahoe.
“We are very proud to be a part of the Golden and Silver Knights families,” Knight Monsters Co-Owner David Hodges stated. “Hockey in Nevada has continued to grow over the last seven-plus years and we’re excited to get going in late October.”
The Silver Knights joined the AHL in 2020 and have competed in the Calder Cup Playoffs in one of its four seasons.
“I’m grateful to be a part of the Tahoe Knight Monsters, where we hope fans and families will make memories for years to come,” Knight Monsters Co-Owner Tim Tebow stated. “I love that sports can bring people together from all over to enjoy camaraderie, competition, and community impact.”
The Knight Monsters will play their inaugural home opener against the Jacksonville Icemen on October 24 and 25 at the Tahoe Blue Event Center.
