Ole Miss basketball has made the final four for one of the top 100 players in the 2025 recruiting class, with a commitment date scheduled.

We are currently in the beginning phases of recruiting for the 2025 college basketball class. Ole Miss is near the top of the team rankings, boasting two four-star commits. Chris Beard, the head coach, is looking for another four-star recruit, this time from within his own state.

Jamarion Davis-Fleming, a 6-foot-8 power forward, announced his final four teams during his recruiting today. The Mississippi native was contemplating LSU and James Madison in addition to his home state institutions, Ole Miss and Mississippi State.

Davis-Fleming also set a commitment date, with a decision expected on October 15th. Davis-Fleming, who is entering his senior season at Canton High School, has only made two unofficial visits: to Mississippi State and LSU.

According to 247Sports, Davis-Fleming is the No. 11 center and No. 97 overall player. On3, Fleming is ranked as the No. 24 power forward, and both recruiting services rank him as Mississippi’s top talent.

Fleming told On3 about each of his final four schools.

“”I recently just got back in contact with Ole Miss. They’re a great school. They play inside-out and play through their bigs and let their bigs play. Coach Beard is a great coach and brings a winning mentality. I talk to them and they preach about winning and i want to go somewhere where i can win.” “

The excellent in-state recruit is preparing to visit Ole Miss. We know Chris Beard is a tireless recruiter, with several prospects and portal players departing Oxford eager to commit. As it stands, Mississippi State is the favorite to land Fleming. However, his recruitment process is far from complete.
