Arkansas’ defensive line coach, Deke Adams, has added a four-star recruit to the trenches for the second consecutive day at Hog Wild Hangout, contributing to the team’s future. Reginald Vaughn, a versatile 4-star lineman, is the latest 2025 recruit to commit to the Razorbacks this cycle, after visiting the Hogs three times.

The Madison, Miss. native, who stands 6-3 and weighs 260 pounds, had 14 total offers. He selected Arkansas over Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Penn State, and Texas.

Vaughn recorded 80 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, and 10 sacks as a junior. Such a performance generated a lot of attention, with many offers coming in following last season.

He is ranked No. 19 among defensive line prospects and No. 11 overall in Mississippi, according to Rivals. With the addition of Vaughn, the Razorbacks’ recruiting class is currently ranked 26th in the nation, according to 247sports.

Arkansas’ signing of Vaughn marks the second straight day the program has increased its commitment in the trenches. Lionel Prudhomme, an offensive guard from Shreveport, Louisiana, committed to Arkansas on Friday afternoon.

Eric Mateos and Deke Adams have made a deliberate effort to add depth to their future lines, with eight linemen committed on either side of the ball.

Following his official visit to Arkansas in June, Vaughn was interviewed by Hogs on SI about what he found most appealing about the state.

IN HIS WORDS

“This visit felt more intentional,” Vaughn added. “They showed me how valuable I would be to the team/family. [The visit] is undoubtedly not scripted. They are exactly who they say they are. “You get exactly what you see.

“The gamers I’ve interacted with have been incredibly humble, cool, and attentive. I appreciate them taking the time to speak with me about the program. Coach Adams is the type of coach that will tell you the truth about everything, good, terrible, and ugly. I appreciate his candor.”
