Will Conroy, a talented 2026 offensive lineman, has issued a list of his top five schools at this stage in his recruiting.
The Oklahoma Sooners received some good news from the recruiting trail recently. At this point in his recruitment, Will Conroy has revealed a list of his top five institutions on social media. The Crimson and Cream managed to make the cut.

Oklahoma was featured alongside programs like Michigan, Miami, Arizona State, and Florida. Conroy narrows his emphasis from an offer sheet of over 20 colleges, totaling 22 chances, to just five competitors. This set of finalists is looking for an emerging 2026 offensive front line prospect.

According to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Player Rankings, Conroy is ranked No. 334 overall in the 2026 recruiting class. The three-star is also ranked as a top-30 interior offensive lineman nationally (27th overall) and a top-15 player in Ohio. In terms of the 247Sports Network’s specialized rankings, our panel of national experts has higher expectations for Conroy’s abilities. There, he has the highest three-star rating of 89 overall, is the No. 16 interior offensive lineman in the US, and is the No. 13 player in Ohio. Conroy, who stands 6-foot-3 and weighs roughly 275 pounds, typically plays right tackle for St. Ignatius on Friday evenings, but projects to the the inside at guard once arriving at the next level.

Conroy does not have a certain decision date or schedule in mind. At this time, there are no 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions for his recruitment. Conroy’s recruitment appears to be very open, both in terms of recruiting and process. He intends to be flexible in the next months.

“I’m thinking about that,” Conroy responded. “I could take my time and continue cultivating relationships. I am not sure. If I decide by the end of the summer, it will be because I am absolutely certain.”

Conroy has been able to visit all of the remaining schools, including Oklahoma. It’s unclear whether the Sooners will be able to get him back on campus in the fall.

These remaining programs are now stepping up their pursuit of Conroy, which might be the closing stretch of his recruiting. Meanwhile, the big man will prepare to advance to the next stage of his profession.
