The Baltimore Orioles went into the season with high expectations after unexpectedly making the playoffs previous year. They surely grew with a trade for Milwaukee Brewers ace Corbin Burnes. However, the rotation has taken a significant hit this season, with John Means and Tyler Wells both sidelined due to elbow surgery.

Thus far, the Orioles have acquired Zach Eflin in a trade with the rival Tampa Bay Rays. But they needed one more pitcher to help cover the hole in the beginning rotation. They found their answer.

According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, the Orioles have acquired Trevor Rogers, a left-handed pitcher, from the Miami Marlins. Orioles supporters, brace yourselves for what they gave up. That’s a lot.
