While Notre Dame football is still on lockdown for Deuce, there are serious rumors that enormous amounts of NIL money could eventually sway him to Auburn. Those wads of cash were previously utilized to send him to university last weekend.

Things are moving rapidly this week, but it’s clear that Auburn and Deuce Knight aren’t just flirting. The Tigers are going all-in to land the Notre Dame commit.
This includes claims that numerous current SEC commits are putting in a lot of effort to recruit their peers.
None of this is entirely unexpected. The 4-star quarterback has been vocal about his commitment to the Irish, but he understands that college football is now both a sport and a business.
It is unclear what this implies for Notre Dame football. Some argue that Marcus Freeman and his organization lacked the financial capacity to compete with the SEC.
