The Crimson Tide’s Class of 2025 will consist of only three off-ball linebackers.
The Alabama football team received some bad news on Sunday morning when 4-star linebacker Jaedon Harmon announced on social media that he was switching his commitment from the Crimson Tide to SEC foe Tennessee.
Harmon committed to Alabama on April 14, but he becomes Tennessee’s second Class of 2025 addition in two days, following 5-star tackle David Sanders Jr.’s commitment on Saturday.
The 6-foot-1, 215-pound Rome recruit is ranked as the No. 18 linebacker and No. 19 player in Georgia. As a junior, he collected 80 tackles, five sacks, and an interception to help his team go 11-2 in Georgia’s Class 5A football.
Alabama has 20 commitments in its Class of 2025 and remains ranked No. 2 by 247Sports.
