Stephens has a strong and diverse background at Ole Miss.
On Friday, Madison Central (Miss.) High School will travel across town to Pearl (Miss.) High School for a scrimmage, giving Mississippi High School football its first glimpse at one of America’s most exciting running back prospects. Mikel Stephen, a 2027 running back who transferred from Gainesville (Ga.), will make his Magnolia State prep debut.
Stephen, who is 5-11 and weighs 185 pounds, has yet to be graded, but his early offer sheet says it all. He already has offers from Ole Miss, Georgia, Ohio State, Florida State, and Georgia State. All but the Georgia State offer, which he obtained after camping at the colleges this summer.
After camping in Oxford this summer, an Ole Miss source referred to Stephen as “elite”.
