At this point, it seems like the USC Trojans make headlines on a daily basis, and for all the right reasons. Football Scoop reports that the Trojans are adding another outstanding hire to their front office.
According to John Brice from Football Scoop:
“Multiple sources in the Midwest tell FootballScoop Wednesday that Bowden is hiring away Notre Dame Director of Player Personnel Zaire Turner into a key role of similar stature within the USC Trojans program.”
This comes only a week after the Trojans signed Chad Bowden from Notre Dame, and Lincoln Riley appears to be adding Zaire Turner, their Director of Player Personnel, as well.
USC Trojans To Hire Zaire Turner To Front Office Staff
Turner, like Bowden, is regarded as a rising talent in the College Football world, and he was promoted to Notre Dame’s DPP position last year.
Turner will perform a similar role with the Trojans and may take on some of the responsibilities previously held by Annie Hanson.
Hanson, the Trojans’ Executive Director of Recruiting, revealed Friday night that she will be stepping down from her position to focus on her family and newborn boy.
Certainly not the same jobs, but there may be some crossing for Turner with Bowden managing everything.
If the stories are correct, hiring Zaire Turner away from Notre Dame would be another home run for the USC Trojans.
