While there is no official release date, it looks that some Notre Dame football stars will be personally involved in EA Sports College Football 2026. Their involvement was disclosed in a leaked image of the cover for this year’s version of the game.

While nothing is known about EA Sports College Football 2026, it appears that information is gradually becoming available. EA gathered numerous players, mascots, and coaches for a cover shot.

Jeremiyah Love, a Notre Dame football running back, attended the photo session at the Rose Bowl. In a game of “Where’s Waldo,” Marcus Freeman was also discovered on the cover of the game’s Deluxe Edition. There are a few reasons why this is exciting news.

Anyone who looked at the cover may have noticed the large number of players and coaches. According to On3, this is because there will be a variety of covers featuring different players.

It’s unclear which version of the cover Love and Freeman are on. It’s unclear whether there will be a large number of various versions with varying pricing points, or if it would be similar to Athlon Magazine, with different covers produced for different regions of the country.

One of the most significant changes to EA Sports College Football 2026 could be Freeman’s involvement. When the game was first released last year, one of the most popular requests for future editions was the inclusion of real head coaches.

While no official announcement has been made, Freeman’s and other coaches’ involvement in the cover appears to hint that they will be in the game. That will undoubtedly be a selling factor for Notre Dame football supporters, even if the game only features a few coaches this year.
