The Blue Devils are 31-3 overall and 19-1 in ACC play, finishing the season with the conference’s best record. Cooper Flagg, the rookie star, was sidelined with an ankle ailment for their final two ACC Tournament games. Following Flagg’s absence, freshman Kon Knueppel took over. The Duke standout had 18 points, eight rebounds, and three assists in the ACC final against Louisville.
As Knueppel prepares for his first March Madness appearance, he took to social media to announce some exciting NIL news. Knueppel has formed an agreement with Celsius, a functional and fitness-oriented energy drink. “Tournament Ready,” Knueppel announced.
This season, Knueppel has averaged 14.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. Knueppel and Flagg have been largely regarded as the top freshmen combo in the country this season. Knueppel was selected First-Team All-ACC Tournament for his play in the ACC Championship Game versus Louisville.

Knueppel and the Blue Devils will now face the winner of the first-round NCAA Tournament game between the Mount St Marys Mountaineers and the American Eagles.
