The NCAA Tournament is reaching its end, with only four teams left. This year’s Final Four is remarkable since it’s only the second time in college basketball history that all four teams are No. 1 seeds. The only other incident occurred in 2008. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Duke Blue Devils have the highest chances of winning the championship at +100. They are followed by the Florida Gators (+290), the Houston Cougars (+420), and the Auburn Tigers (+490).
This may come as a surprise given that Auburn is the No. 1 overall seed and was rated first in the country for eight of the last ten weeks of the season. The Tigers have been dominant throughout the tournament, winning three of their four games by double digits. The only game they did not win by a large margin was against the No. 2 seeded Michigan State Spartans in the Elite Eight, which Auburn won 70-64.
On “The Paul Finebaum Show,” SEC Network analyst Paul Finebaum predicted the March Madness winner. “I am with you,” Finebaum added. “I enjoy Auburn. They’ve been very amazing so far.”
To support Finebaum’s thesis, Auburn has arguably been the most dominant of the remaining four candidates. Its next opponent, Florida, has two games in the tournament decided by five points or fewer. Similarly, Houston has played two close games, one of which was decided by a last-second shot. Duke is the only team that could be regarded more dominant than Auburn, having won three games by 20 points or more. The exception was a seven-point victory over the Arizona Wildcats, which ended 100-93.

Auburn had a phenomenal 32-5 record this season, the most wins in school history. The Tigers will look to capitalize on their recent success against Florida on Saturday at 6:09 p.m. on CBS.
