As is customary in Durham, Duke basketball head coach Jon Scheyer has made a few offers on the 2026 trail, mostly aiming for elite five-star talents. Christian Collins, a five-star forward from St. John Bosco High School in California, who is teammates with one of Scheyer’s initial 2026 targets, five-star guard Brandon McCoy Jr., may be the next Blue Devil offer recipient in the cycle.

Dushawn London of 247Sports reported on Sunday night that Duke is scheduled to meet with the 6-foot-8, 200-pound Collins on Monday at his school.

Adam Finkelstein of 247Sports wrote in January that “the junior who has ascended most in recent months is actually McCoy’s teammate at St. John Bosco, Christian Collins,” so it’s easy to see how he attracted Duke basketball interest.

“For a player his stature, Collins’ court coverage, fast quickness, and ability to bend and twist his physique are quite uncommon. He is a long, wiry forward who is headed toward becoming a giant wing. He might be able to contend for the top place before everything is said and done.

On the 247Sports 2026 Composite, Collins currently ranks No. 5 overall, No. 1 among power forwards, and No. 3 in California. In addition to numerous more prominent suitors in Alabama, Arizona, Southern Cal, Georgia Tech, Cal, and Louisville, he has already received more than a dozen offers, including from blueblood Kansas.
