There is little doubt that the Green Bay Packers will be thrilled with what Jordan Love brings to the squad in 2024 and beyond. Several rumors have indicated that Love will be extended this offseason.
Despite a tragic finale to the Packers’ season, the future looks bright.
It was widely expected that the Packers would struggle when Aaron Rodgers was traded away. Finally, the Packers stunned everyone by rising to the task and finishing among the last four teams in their conference. The Packers have now added a player who previously served as an Aaron Rodgers weapon.
The Green Bay Packers Add One Former Wide Receiver Who Used To Play With Aaron Rodgers
Rex Villas of Wisconsin Sports Heroics originally reported it on our site:
Former NFL wide receiver Myles White is returning to Lambeau Field, this time as part of his former team’s coaching staff, nearly ten years after being released by the Green Bay Packers, according to John Brice of FootballScoop.com.
White, who most recently served as the passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach for Chuck Martin’s Miami (Ohio) team, will join the NFL’s Green Bay Packers as an offensive assistant.
In the 2013 NFL season, White appeared in seven games for the Green Bay Packers, totaling 66 receiving yards on nine receptions and 12 targets. He signed a three-year contract with the Packers in April 2013 for $1.48 million, but was let go a year later.
He returned to the Packers as a reserve in 2015, but he never played again for them. In the same year, he joined the New York Giants and played 12 games, totaling 88 receiving yards and a touchdown on seven catches and 20 targets.
Although he will not have a big coaching job with the Green Bay Packers, this might be the beginning of a promising NFL career for White, who played college football for the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.
Before joining the Packers, White was a wide receivers coach for the Miami (Ohio) Redhawks.
