Several prominent players have left the Green Bay Packers in recent seasons. Obviously, the trades of Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams in consecutive offseasons dominated the headlines. However, the Packers parted ways with several veterans throughout the 2023 offseason and season.

The Bills are taking steps today to get under the salary cap.
Aside from releasing safety Jordan Poyer, cornerback Siran Neal, and offensive lineman Mitch Morse, the Bills intend to restructure cornerback Rasul Douglas’ contract.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the move will save the Bills around $2.5 million against their salary ceiling.
Following his trade from Green Bay, Douglas appeared in nine games, making eight starts. He has four interceptions, eight passes defensed, 29 tackles, and one sack for Buffalo.

Before the 2023 NFL Trade Deadline, the Packers traded CB Rasul Douglas to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for a 2024 third-round selection pick.
Given the Packers’ depleted secondary at the time, the deal drew some scrutiny. As fate would have it, the secondary remains one of the Packers’ most pressing problems one offseason later.
Douglas soon began making plays for the Bills’ defense, rapidly establishing himself as a starter in a powerful secondary.
