Bruno Guimaraes of Newcastle United was involved in a comical moment away to Aston Villa earlier this year, and he has now received a surprise.
The 26-year-old assisted the Magpies to a big win at Villa Park, with Eddie Howe’s team delivering their greatest performance of the season to defeat the Champions League contenders 3-1.
Newcastle United were really excellent that night in January, with Bruno Guimaraes quietly doing his job in the middle of the pitch.
However, Bruno was embroiled in an incident following the game.
What happened to Bruno Guimaraes after Aston Villa win
As the Brazil international prepared to walk down the tunnel, he started talking to a spectator. They then offered Bruno some Kinder chocolate bars after he revealed his passion for them in the recent Newcastle documentary, which aired on Amazon Prime last year.
Bruno then handed the fan his shirt in return for the chocolate, which seemed like a fair deal!
We then learned from Jason Tindall that Bruno shared his sweet treats with his teammates following the game, and the midfielder has now received additional gifts.
Newcastle star receives Kinder gift box
Bruno used his official Instagram account to share a photo of a box he received from Kinder.
Kinder sent the Toon talisman a gift full of sweets, including a personalized packet featuring his face.
Amazing… After Bruno Guimaraes swapped his shirt for a Kinder chocolate bar at Villa the other week, the company have now sent the #NUFC midfielder a customised, ‘Kinder Bruno’ hamper… 😂 pic.twitter.com/Q3iivFhIRV

He is a very lucky youngster, and hopefully he will not be stuffing himself with chocolate before of Newcastle’s FA Cup match against Manchester City on Saturday evening.
This is a huge game for the Magpies, with a semi-final spot and a trip to Wembley on the line. Bruno can indulge in as much chocolate as he wants if he helps Newcastle reach the FA Cup last four.
As the man himself puts it, Kinder Bueno has given way to Kinder Bruno!
