The Miami Dolphins have been hit hard by free agency, having already lost Christian Wilkins, Robert Hunt, Andrew Van Ginkel, Brandon Jones, Cedric Wilson, and many other key players.
NFL icon Chad Johnson is looking ahead, as he has a mutually beneficial plan for the Dolphins and a specific star receiver he believes would be a good fit in South Beach.
Johnson, on his show Nightcap with Shannon Sharpe, advocated for the Dolphins to sign Michael Thomas, and he wants the injury-prone player to train with him in Miami to prepare for the 2024 season.
“I would love to have you down in Miami, come to Miami, call the Dolphins,” he continued.

Thomas’ stock has plunged in recent years as a result of a slew of ailments, and Johnson emphasized his 11-year career with no major injuries, as well as how he might assist Thomas in adjusting to and preparing for life in Miami.
Thomas has 39 catches for 448 yards and one touchdown last season.
Since his historic 149-catch season in 2020, Thomas has played only 20 games in the last four years, totaling little over 1,000 receiving yards.
Miami’s wide receiver depth is severely lacking behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, and the team might benefit from having a senior technician like Thomas alongside its two star wideouts.
