New home for ex-Southampton man
Ross-Lang’s relocation to Lithuania provides an opportunity for him to gain regular game experience.
He has been out of the game for virtually the whole campaign, and this will allow him to gain valuable experience.
The winger was part of Manchester City’s academy before joining Southampton in 2020.
He began his career with the Saints’ Under-18s, scoring seven goals in 31 matches before moving on to the Under-21s, where he appeared seven times.
The Saints made the difficult choice to split ways with him in June, when his contract ended following their relegation from the Premier League.
Ross-Lang never played for the first team at St Mary’s and will be anxious to get a taste of regular senior football with FK Tauras now.
They play in the II Lyga, Lithuania’s second tier, and are presently in fifth position, 10 points behind the top three.
Ross Lang’s previous club Southampton are currently vying for promotion back to the top flight. They’re in the playoffs under Russell Martin.
