Bruno Guimaraes of Newcastle United has set out to make his mark on the club’s history, and the midfielder intends to remain in the Premier League for the foreseeable future.
Bruno Guimaraes has admitted that he is’very pleased’ at Newcastle United, but the Brazil international will leave ‘down the line’.

Bruno only signed a new five-year contract with Newcastle in October, albeit the agreement is believed to include a release clause. Eddie Howe has previously stated that maintaining the club’s finest players will be determined by ‘how well we do and where the team goes in terms of gratifying players who do extremely well for us’.

Bruno joined a relegation-threatened club and has since helped Newcastle avoid relegation, reach their first cup final since 1999, and qualify for the Champions League for the first time in more than 20 years. Bruno has called this season as ‘disappointing’, with injury-ravaged Newcastle presently in 10th place, but the understanding midfielder said that he ‘knew this would happen’ when he arrived for the club and that ‘we made things happen too quickly’.

“It’s always been my dream to play here,” he told Brazilian journalists. “I have always followed the Premier League. It has always been my desire to be here.

“I believe that since joining Newcastle, everything in my life has been positive, both professionally and personally. I’m thrilled to be playing in the world’s finest league alongside the best. I fully intend to play here for a long time. I also have other movement aspirations, but this is something that will come later. I’m very thrilled to be in the league.”

Bruno claimed he was’so grateful’ to Newcastle, and the 26-year-old’s immediate goal is to assist his club earn European football with a successful end to the season. Newcastle, for their part, plans to trade this summer, but the Magpies do not want to lose their star.
