Burnley have agreed to sign PSV Eindhoven right-back Shurandy Sambo on a free transfer in the summer, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Clarets are expected to tumble back to the Championship after only one season in the Premier League.
Burnley, on the other hand, is already planning for the future and hoping to have everything in order before the summer window opens.
The club has been eager to bring in a new right-back throughout the transfer window, regardless of which league they play in.
And it has been stated that they have already reached an agreement to sign Sambo on a free transfer ahead of the summer.
The 22-year-old defender’s contract with PSV expires at the end of the season, and he has been hunting for another team.
He will be heading to England in the summer after agreeing to terms with Burnley.
The Clarets are attempting to put themselves in a position to re-enter the Premier League if they are relegated at the end of the season.
