He’s only had a minor presence in North London.

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Gary O’Neil is eager to close deals this month, and transfer source Dean Jones has said that his club may want to provide a Premier League star the ideal opportunity to become a vital player at Molineux.

Wolves looking for good offers
It has been well-documented over the last year or so how much Wolves have had to restructure in order to comply with Financial Fair Play requirements, and they have only just kept their heads above water in that regard thanks to their stunning £140 million fire sale in the summer.

Big names like Matheus Nunes, Ruben Neves, Conor Coady, and Nathan Collins were among those sold to balance the books at Molineux, and Gary O’Neil will undoubtedly want to avoid any further turbulence in the market as his side continues their quietly impressive Premier League campaign.

According to the Telegraph, the Old Gold would prioritize loan signings this window as financially advantageous agreements take precedence in the West Midlands.

West Ham United striker Danny Ings is thought to be a target for Wolves after falling out of favour at the London Stadium, and as a proven goalscorer, he might add some skill and experience in attack. With goals hard to come by from their regular number nine alternatives, the Old Gold appear to be looking to recruit an out-and-out centre-forward and a flanker in January.

Now, journalist Jones has thrown some light on a player he feels Wolves could be interested in, who would also qualify as a loan signing.

Dean Jones surrenders Reiss Nelson to the Wolves decision.
According to CBS Sports, Wolves and Sevilla are both interested in loaning out Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson in January after his little involvement at the Emirates Stadium this season.

Jones has now stated to GIVEMESPORT that Wolves could explore bringing the former England Under-21 international to Molineux, calling it an ideal fit: “Obviously, he’s struggling to make himself a regular part of Arsenal’s starting XI and that’s fine, but a club like Wolves would be perfect for him in order to get more game time and make an impact more regularly.”

“I think the fan base would actually really like a player like Reiss Nelson, so it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if they look into the potential around the loan deal,” he continued. But, once again, why would Arsenal want to loan away a player who might be needed off the bench this season? It’s a difficult conversation to have.”

Despite his evident skill, Nelson has struggled to establish himself as a regular in Mikel Arteta’s side, and Wolves could be a perfect destination to restart his 2023/24 season.
