Sean Cuono, a three-star prospect, discusses his decision to commit to the Hoosiers following an official visit to Indiana this past weekend.

Sean Cuono committed to Indiana earlier this week, giving the Hoosiers a dynamic ball carrier for their attack. Peegs.com chatted with the 5-foot-10, 185-pound running back from Clearwater Central Catholic High School about why he chose Indiana University.

Cuono stated that his bond with the coaching staff and his connection to Indiana were important reasons he chose Indiana.

“The relationship I have with the coaches stood out to me,” Cuono stated. “I also have a history of family members going to IU.”

Cuono was in Bloomington for an official visit this weekend, and the three-star recruit reported having a terrific experience.

“I enjoyed my visit to Indiana,” he stated. “It was probably the coolest thing I’ve ever experienced in my life.”

The Indiana staff informed Cuono that his skill set is a perfect fit for their system, and they anticipate him making an early impact.

“The coaches see me fitting perfectly into their offense,” he added of the message from Indiana. “They said that I should be getting early playing time.”

Cuono met with a current Indiana running back, who offered him excellent comments about the football program.

“I was with Justice (Ellison), the transfer running back from Wake Forest,” said Cuono. “He told me good things about IU and the coaching staff.”
