According to On3, Chris Beard has signed a Top 25 recruit for the 2025 class, kicking off the summer season in Oxford.
Tylis Jordan, a 6-9 big from Georgia, chose the Rebs over many top SEC programs, including Tennessee, Alabama, and Auburn.
Jordan’s 24/7 composite score is the second highest among Ole Miss recruits, trailing only Matthew Murrell. If Tylis follows through on his commitment, the 2025-26 Ole Miss roster will include three of the highest-rated recruits in school history.
As shown in the highlight video, Jordan is a dynamic forward who can attack off the dribble and draw up to shoot. On the Adidas AAU circuit, he shot only 37% from the field, indicating room for growth in shooting efficiency.
John Bol will be the only frontcourt player guaranteed to return in 2025-26, as junior Malik Dia has previously tested the NBA waters and might easily do so again. This opens the door for Tylis Jordan to become an early impact player for Ole Miss.
Coach Beard takes pleasure in his team’s defense, and Jordan’s versatility is a natural fit for both sides.
Tylis Jordan and four-star, top 100 Patton Pinkins are already signed for the 2025 class, which is shaping up to be the best ever. The Rebs are also the current favorites to sign their highest-rated recruit ever, Mikel Brown Jr., a top-10 recruit in the class.
