Bobby Miller will not make his scheduled start for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday night. According to Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times, the organization is being cautious with Miller due to adductor stiffness following a bullpen session earlier this week.

Miller was on the injured list for over two months this season due to right shoulder irritation. He subsequently made four rehab starts before returning to Los Angeles, but struggled and was optioned to Triple-A.

Miller has struggled in four Triple-A starts this season, posting a 5.71 ERA and only 11 strikeouts in 17.1 innings of work. Now, he appears to have suffered another little setback in an otherwise poor second season in Major League Baseball.

After going 11-4 with a 3.76 ERA in 22 MLB starts last season, Miller has struggled in 2024, going 1-2 with an 8.07 ERA in just seven games. Miller is likely to return to the Dodgers later this month or in September, but first he must get healthy and pitch to his full potential.
