On Monday, the New York Yankees defeated the Cleveland Guardians in game one of the American League Championship Series, 5-2.

Game 2 will be played the following day, Tuesday, and the Guardians will be under pressure to avoid returning home with a 2-0 series disadvantage.

Alex Cobb, the Guardians’ starting pitcher in game one, left after 2.2 innings due to a lower-back issue.

Tony Rizzo, a radio presenter, wants Guardians fans to relax after losing game one to the Yankees.

“Your pitcher didn’t pitch well, theirs did, you lost game 1, relax,” he added.

Rizzo appears to say that starting pitching was the deciding factor in game one, which may be true.

Cobb worked 2.2 innings, allowing 5 hits, 3 earned runs, and 3 walks while striking out three.

Carlos Rodon, the Yankees starter, went 6.0 innings, allowing three hits, one earned run, and no walks while striking out nine.

Even though Cobb left the game early due to an injury, the Yankees appeared to be seeing the ball well away from him.

Tanner Bibee will lead the Guardians to a strong start in game two against Yankees ace Gerrit Cole.

Bibee started two games against the Detroit Tigers in the American League Division Series, throwing 8.2 innings with a 2.08 earned run average and nine strikeouts.

Yankees pitcher Cole has performed well in the postseason, so Bibee will need to be sharp to give the Guardians a chance to win game two.

Game 3 will be played on Thursday in Cleveland, with the Guardians hoping to tie the series.
