Rayshawn Duncan Jr. is getting an early jump on narrowing down his college choices and already likes the Oklahoma Sooners.

Duncan, a four-star running back in the 2027 class, on Wednesday announced via X his top 10 school choices, including OU, Utah, Syracuse, Penn State, Nebraska, Kentucky, Michigan, Purdue, Iowa and Virginia.

He also had reported offers from Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, TCU and more.

Duncan’s recruitment process is still in its early stages, as he recently completed his sophomore season at Bedford High School in Ohio. As a result, few big recruiting firms have covered Duncan extensively.
Duncan, on the other hand, is already a four-star prospect, according to Rivals. According to the website, he is the No. 19 running back prospect in the 2027 class and Ohio’s seventh-best recruit.
Duncan is allegedly planning unofficial visits to Syracuse, Kentucky, Georgia, and Florida State this spring, but not to Norman. On January 2, he revealed an offer from the University of Oklahoma.

So far, the Sooners have not received any pledges from the 2027 class, but it is still very early in the process. Zane Rowe, an edge rusher, committed early last April but reopened his recruitment in January.

The 2027 recruiting class will become increasingly prominent during the upcoming high school football season, when the prospects will be juniors. The OU coaching staff is now focusing on the 2026 class.
