Flagg led Duke in all five categories during his freshman season, averaging 18.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.3 blocks.
He’s largely regarded as one of the leading contenders for the Player of the Year award, particularly against Auburn’s Johni Broome.
Duke’s first NCAA Tournament game will be against the winner of American vs. Mount St. Mary’s. The two will compete for the No. 16 seed ahead of the Round of 68.
While Flagg was sidelined at the end of the ACC Tournament due to an ankle sprain, there have been numerous reports that he will play in the NCAA Tournament.
