Micah Shrewsberry and Notre Dame have acquired, a graduate transfer forward who will be a vital member of the 2025–26 squad.
Notre Dame now has a much-needed post presence after the Northern Arizona transfer announced his switch to the Fighting Irish on Sunday.
For the Lumberjacks, Towt averaged 13.3 ppg, 12.4 rpg, and 3.4 apg in 2024–2025. In fact, Towt had just six games with single-digit rebounds last season, and his 12.4 rebounds per game led the nation in rebounding.
As a senior, the 6-foot-8, 235-pound player also had a strong field goal percentage of 56.9 percent. Given that he has a lifetime 42.2 shooting percentage at the charity line, Towt’s free throw shooting is, on paper, his weakest point. In addition, the Arizona native has never made a three-point shot in his playing career.

Towt had garnered interest from Baylor, Cal, GCU, Iowa, St. Mary’s, Washington State, Xavier and several more institutions.
